Toronto police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for violently sexually assaulting a 15-year-old near Kennedy Station in Scarborough in the summer.
Authorities say the alleged incident happened on July 21 when the victim left Kennedy Station on foot.
A man began following the victim on his e-bike and sped up after the 15-year-old started to run away. Police said the man tackled the teenager to the ground and sexually assaulted them. He then fled the scene on his e-bike.
The victim’s gender was not immediately apparent.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s with a slim build, dark complexion, and a beard.
Investigators said he was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a blue square “POLO” logo on the back, white shorts, a black shoulder bag, and riding a black e-bike.
