Man seriously injured in west end stabbing

A man suffered serious injuries following a stabbing in the Eglinton West neighbourhood.

Police say they were called a residence in the area of Caledonia Road and Eglinton Avenue West just after 7 a.m. Sunday for reports of an altercation at a party.

When they arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds.

Paramedics tell CityNews the victim was taken to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition.

Police have not released any suspect information at this point.
