3 teens arrested, 1 sought after stabbing, fight at Oakville high school

Three teens have been arrested and three others have serious injuries after a fight broke out at an Oakville high school on Wednesday afternoon.

Halton police were called to Garth Webb Secondary School, in the area of Westoak Trails Boulevard and Postmaster Drive, around 4 p.m. after getting reports a fight had broken out in the foyer of the building.

Officers located three male teens injured at the scene. Two were suffering from stab wounds and a third had a bloody nose.

The three 15-year-old victims were transported to hospital in serious condition. They have since been released.

The school was placed into lockdown as police investigated the incident. Officers were able to identify four suspects before the lockdown was lifted.

A 15-year-old male was arrested at the scene and charged with assault.

A 17-year-old male suspect was located a short time later in the area of Third Line and Merchants Gate and is facing an assault charge.

Police located and arrested another 15-year-old male suspect in the same area early Thursday around 12:30 a.m. He is facing multiple charges including assault with a weapon and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.

Investigators have identified a 19-year-old male and issued a warrant for his arrest. He is facing several charges including two counts of assault causing bodily harm and two counts of assault with a weapon.

All four suspects are from Oakville. There is no word if the suspects or victims are students at the school.
