Canada-wide warrant issued for 2 suspects in Markham murder

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for two people in connection with the death of a woman in Markham earlier this month.
York regional police say they were called to an apartment building on Buchanan Drive in the area of Highway 7 and Warden Avenue around 8 p.m. on Dec. 4.
When they arrived, they found an adult female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A warrant for first degree murder has been issued for two suspects, 38-year-old Shichao Dong and 37-year-old Lina Rong, who police say should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police also reminded the public that anyone who is, or has, assisted the two may also be subject to criminal charges.
