Police are working to identify several persons of interest in connection with a fatal shooting in Vaughan in September.

York Regional Police officers were called to the parking lot of an Ikea store in the area of Interchange Way and Highway 7 at around 3:30 a.m. on Sep. 24, following reports of gunshots.

Officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Moses Alphonso “M.J.” Wright from Brampton.

Investigators have released a series of photos of persons of interests and are asking the individuals pictured to come forward.

Anyone who is able to identify the individuals in the photos are also being asked to contact investigators.

“Investigators continue to urge potential witnesses in the area at the time of the incident to please come forward to speak with police,” reads a York police release, adding they’re also looking for dashcam or surveillance video from the areas.
