Body discovered after vehicle fire in east Toronto

A body was discovered following a vehicle fire in east Toronto.
Toronto Fire tells CityNews crews responded to a vehicle fire in the Victoria Park Avenue and Valdane Drive area just after 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials informed Toronto police that a deceased person was inside the vehicle once the fire was out.
“An individual was found deceased inside the RV,” said Deputy Fire Chief Larry Cocco.
Cocco says the camper-like vehicle was discovered on fire in a parking lot near a grocery store.
It’s too early to determine if the fire is suspicious in nature, officials said.
The fire was extinguished quickly, and the investigation is ongoing.
