Police working to identify 2 suspects in Queen West assault

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects after a man was assaulted in Toronto’s west-end earlier this month.

Toronto police say a 35-year-old man was assaulted by two suspects in the Dovercourt Road and Queen Street West area around 4:40 a.m. on Dec. 4.

Investigators allege two men who were loitering in the area approached the victim and assaulted him before fleeing the area.

The man sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as having a medium build, clean shaven with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants, white shirt and light-coloured shoes.

The second suspect is described as having a medium build, clean shaven with dark short hair. He was last seen wearing a plaid jacket, black pants, black shirt and black shoes.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
