2 suspects wanted in assault on a TTC streetcar

Toronto police are working to identify two suspects wanted in connection with an assault on a TTC streetcar.
Officers say they responded to the call on board the streetcar in the area of Gerrard Street East and Don Valley Parkway on Dec. 17.
It’s alleged the victim was involved in a dispute with a man and woman on board. They were then allegedly assaulted by the man and woman while the streetcar was in motion.
The suspects then exited the streetcar and were last seen in the same area.
The man is described as in his 30s with a medium build, long black hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black winter jacket, brown pants and glasses.
The woman is also in her 30s with a larger build, longer black hair and wearing a black winter coat and black pants.
A security image of the two suspects has been released and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
