Three wounded by gunshots near Victoria Park and Lawrence

Police investigate a shooting incident in the Victoria Park Avenue area.

Three victims have been wounded by gunshots at Victoria Park Avenue and Sloane Avenue, near Lawrence Avenue East.

Originally one man was transported to hospital with serious injuries but Toronto police reported that two more victims showed up to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots heard in the area, finding multiple casings by the first victim.

Those in the area were instructed to proceed with caution.
