By Patricia D'Cunha

Three men are fighting for their lives in hospital after a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer in North York.

The crash happened on Highway 401 near Leslie Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Ontario Provincial Police officers say a car was slowing down due to construction when the driver of a tractor-trailer crashed into the back of the vehicle, pushing it into the guardrail.

The three occupants of the vehicle — all men, aged 23, 25 and 29 — were rushed to hospital.

Police have not said if the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured in the collision.

There is no word on if any charges will be laid.
