A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke in an alleged hit-and-run.

Police were called to Burnhamthorpe Road, west of Mill Road, after getting reports someone was struck by a vehicle around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

A 26-year-old man was located at the scene and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police tell CityNews the man was found without clothes and may have wandered into the street.

The driver fled the scene but was located by police a short time later.

Police say 34-year-old Dustin Yu is facing a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing bodily harm.
