Police seek suspect after man allegedly pushed onto subway tracks

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after someone was allegedly pushed onto the subway tracks at Bloor-Yonge station.

Police say the incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported and the man was able to get back up onto the platform.

The suspect is described as being male, wearing a black do-rag, dark jacket and dark track pants. He was last seen on the westbound platform of the station.

The incident comes a little more than three weeks after Toronto police boosted their presence on city transit in the wake of recent violence.
