Toronto police are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information that could lead to the arrest of a man wanted in the alleged fatal shooting of another man outside of a North York subway station in June.
Investigators announced the reward through the BOLO program, which encourages citizens to be on the lookout for Canada’s most wanted fugitives.
Toronto police received reports of gunshots heard shortly after 10 p.m. on June 15, 2022, in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue area. When officers arrived, they found the victim, who had been shot in a parking lot near an entrance to Sheppard-Yonge station.
Officers provided life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene. Investigators said one man was seen leaving the area in a silver 2014 Hyundai Tucson with Ontario licence plate CVBA 460.
The shooting victim was identified as 28-year-old Kian Hoseyni of Toronto.

At a press conference on Tuesday, police said 30-year-old Kiarash Parzham of Richmond Hill is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder.
Parzham is listed as number four on BOLO’s top 25 most wanted list.
Jeff Allington of Toronto’s homicide unit says Parzham has strong ties to the GTA, notably Richmond Hill. Before 2022, Allington said Parzham resided in the Metro Vancouver area and still has regional connections.
“To anyone assisting Kiarash Parzham in hiding from the police, know that you can, and will, be charged with an accessory after the fact to a first-degree murder charge,” Allington said.
Police said the wanted man was known to frequent the entertainment area of Hamilton Street in Vancouver.
The $50,000 reward is available until Sept. 14, 2023.
