Transit riders may have to find an alternative method of transportation on Saturday due to a significant subway closure.
The TTC says trains will not be running on Line 1 between York Mills and Bloor-Yonge stations due to track repairs and work being done on the Automatic Train Control signal system.
Shuttle buses will be available and will service all eight stations along the route.

A similar full-day closure of the same stretch of Line 1 was also scheduled for next weekend but has now been moved to the beginning of April.
Subway service is expected to return on Sunday and will be boosted on both lines in order to get people downtown for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will also be responsible for some surface route diversions as there will be full road closures on Bloor Street, Yonge Street, and Queen Street for most of the day.
