Toronto police cruiser involved in Scarborough crash that sent 2 to hospital

Two people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries after crash involving a Toronto police cruiser on Wednesday morning.
It happened just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Morningside Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East.
The officer in the cruiser was not injured.
It’s not clear at this point what caused the crash.
Police say the intersection is currently closed.
