First up, a trip back in time!
Prehistoric Planet is a nature documentary, but one that doesn’t the show the world as it is. It instead shows the world during the time of the dinosaurs in the Late Cretaceous period, around 66 million years ago. This show, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, depicts the average life of many creatures including Triceratops, Velociraptors, and Morrosaurus.

Master Gardener

Next up, an intense drama!

Master Gardener is the latest film from Paul Schrader (the director behind First Reformed, Cat People, and Affliction). His latest film stars Joel Edgerton (from the Great Gatsby and the Underground Railroad) as another one of Schrader’s lonely men. He’s a horticulturist working on an exclusive estate, making sure all the gardens look as pristine as possible. The owner of the estate (played by Sigourney Weaver from Alien and Avatar) asks him to train her great-niece (played by Quintessa Swindell from Black Adam). The two begin to work together, and their new kinship threatens to unravel all his dark secrets. This film also stars Esai Morales (from Ozark) and Rick Cosnett (from the Flash).

American Born Chinese

Now, let’s take a look into a modern take of Chinese mythology!

American Born Chinese is a new show that’s adapted from a graphic novel of the same name. It’s about a teenage boy (played by Ben Wang from Chang Can Dunk) who is as the title suggests, a Chinese person born in America. One day at his high school, he’s asked to guide a new student around who’s from China. While showing him around, he learns that this new student actually comes from a different world. One in which all the major figures of Chinese mythology such as Guanyin, Shiji Niangniang and the Jade Emperor, also exist. This show also stars Michelle Yeoh (from Everything Everywhere All At Once), Ke Huy Quan (from the Goonies), and Daniel Wu (from Into the Badlands).

Fast X

Next up, it’s time for family!
It’s time for the 10th (technically 11th) film in the Fast and Furious franchise! Fast X sees Dom Toretto (played by Vin Diesel from Guardians of the Galaxy) and his family hired for a new job in Rome. But after they start working on it, they realize they’ve been set up by the son of a former nemesis. Dante Reyes (played by Jason Momoa from Aquaman) is the son of the villain from Fast Five, and he’s looking for vengeance against Toretto and everyone in his family. This film also stars Michelle Rodriguez (from Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), Helen Mirren (from the Queen), John Cena (from Peacemaker), and many more!

White Men Can’t Jump

Now, it’s time for a remake of a classic 90s film!
White Men Can’t Jump stars Sinqua Walls (from American Soul) and rapper Jack Harlow in the roles first made famous by Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. The two meet on the court, and Walls realizes that Harlow is using the fact that he doesn’t look like a baller to hustle people. The two decide to team up for a big tournament in which the winners gets half a million dollars. This film also stars Laura Harrier (from Spider-Man: Homecoming), singer Teyana Taylor (from Coming 2 America), and the recently deceased Lance Reddick (from the Wire).
