One in custody after shooting in Scarborough

One person is in custody after a shooting in the Lawrence Avenue East and Wayne Avenue area, west of Warden Avenue, in Scarborough on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a shooting call at approximately 3:11 p.m. and located one man on scene with a gunshot wound.

Emergency services transported a 25-year-old man to hospital in serious, non-life threatening condition.
One person is in custody and a firearm has been recovered. Const. Alex Li tells CityNews there are multiple vehicles with bullet holes involved.
Police say the shooting had no connection to the earlier lockdown at Wexford Collegiate Institute.
