Porter Airlines announces round-trip flights from Toronto to Winnipeg

Porter Airlines is expanding its rapidly growing network to include round-trip flights from Toronto to Winnipeg starting in September.

Porter Airlines announced on Tuesday that flights will be between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG).

The new service between the provincial capitals begins on September 7, 2023, with two daily round-trip flights.

Introductory roundtrip fares will start at $177. Flights from Toronto-Pearson to Winnipeg include the following (all times are local).

Toronto to Winnipeg

Departure: 10:05 a.m.
Arrival: 11:41 a.m.

Departure: 3:50 p.m.
Arrival: 5:26 p.m.

Winnipeg to Toronto

Departure: 12:30 p.m.
Arrival: 3:55 p.m.

Departure: 6:20 p.m.
Arrival: 9:45 p.m.


Porter said the service would also connect to the Eastern Canada network out of Toronto-Pearson, including Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.

“Winnipegers will soon have access to Porter’s elevated economy experience, an option that doesn’t exist in Winnipeg today,” said Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Porter Airlines.

“Porter has been recognized as having the best cabin service in North America, and we provide that award-winning service to every passenger at highly competitive fares.”

Flights are available for booking on Porter’s website or through travel agencies.
