Suspect arrested after fatally stabbing Nigerian student in Scarborough

A suspect has been arrested after a man was fatally stabbed in a Scarborough plaza parking lot, killing 28-year-old student Ifeanyichukwu Oseke from Nigeria.
Tamar Cupid, 25, of Toronto, was been identified as the suspect and was arrested for second degree murder. A Canada-wide warrant was been issued for his arrest.
Toronto police were called to a strip mall on Eglinton Avenue just west of Brimley Road around 7 p.m. on June 25 after getting reports that two people were fighting.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken via emergency run to a nearby trauma centre, where he was pronounced dead.
Cupid was arrested on July 1 and is scheduled to appear in court at Toronto Regional Bail Centre on the morning of July 2.
