Shelter is a new series based on the Mickey Bolitar books by Harlan Coben. It stars Jaden Michael (from Colin in Black & White) as Mickey, who moves to a new town with his mom after his father’s death. He notices that a girl eventually disappears, and he decides to figure out where she’s gone. Finding no help from any adults around him, he teams up with some fellow students to solve this mystery. This show also stars Constance Zimmer (from House of Cards), Abby Corrigan (from Castle Rock) and Sage Linder (from the Next Step).

The Chosen One

Next up, it’s time for a mysterious resurrection!

The Chosen One is a new series all about a young boy called Jodie (played by newcomer Bobby Luhnow) who lives in Mexico. One day he starts to develop powers similar to those of Jesus Christ, including turning water into wine and healing the sick. While he wants to use these abilities to impress the girl he has a crush on. But there are greater forces at play, one who know the truth of this turn of events. This show also stars Dianna Agron (from Glee), Carlos Bardem (from Escobar: Paradise Lost), and Tenoch Huerta (from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).

Now, it’s time for a comeback!

Reinventing Elvis: The ’68 Comeback is a documentary about one of the most pivotal moments in the life of acclaimed singer Elvis Presley. Throughout the 1960s, he became less relevant as he turned to Hollywood and merchandising, while stars like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones grew. But in 1968 he performed a series of shows highlighting his raw talent, compiled and released as Singer Presents…. Elvis. More commonly known as the ’68 Comeback Special, this is the special brought him back to complete world stardom and immortalized him forever.

Next up, let’s take an adventure into the wild!

Strays is a new film about a group of stray dogs. Will Ferrell (from Talladega Nights) voices a Border Terrier called Reggie who loves his owner (played by Will Forte from MacGruber). Except his owner hates animals, and eventually kicks Reggie out to the street. Reggie joins up with a group of other dogs to get revenge on Doug and find themselves a new home. This film also stars Jaime Foxx (from Django Unchained), Isla Fisher (from the Beach Bum) and Randall Park (from Fresh Off the Boat).

The Monkey King

Last but not least, let’s take a trip back in time to the Ming dynasty!

The Monkey King is an animated film based on a famous Chinese story called Journey to the West. It’s about the titular Monkey King (voiced by Jimmy O. Yang from Silicon Valley). He sets out into the world with a powerful staff that he stole from the Dragon King (played by Bowen Yang from Fire Island), but the Dragon King wants to steal it back. The Monkey King will have to fight for himself, while also seeking enlightenment. This film also stars Stephanie Hsu (from Joy Ride), Hoon Lee (from Banshee), and BD Wong (from M. Butterfly).
