Man seriously hurt after motorcycle, SUV collide in Scarborough intersection

Toronto police are investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV at Victoria Park Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East on Aug. 28, 2023.

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Scarborough.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Victoria Park and Lawrence around 5:10 a.m. Monday.

Paramedics confirm the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.

The intersection was closed in all directions but roads have since reopened.
