Motorcyclist airlifted with critical injuries after crash with dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville on Wednesday afternoon.

York regional police say it happened on Bloomington Road near Ninth Line.

Bloomington is currently closed between Ninth Line and York Durham Line for the investigation.

The motorcyclist is in their 20s, but no further information has been divulged.

Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
