4 people shot overnight in downtown Toronto

Four people are in hospital with life-threatening or potentially life-threatening injuries after being shot overnight in downtown Toronto.
Officers were called to Dundas and Sherbourne Streets just before 3 a.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting. The shooting reportedly took place outside but few details are known at this time.
Two of the victims are in life-threatening condition, while two others are listed as in critical condition.
Police are looking for multiple suspects, but have not released any details.
Insp. Keri Fernandes said it’s too early in the investigation to determine the relationship between the suspects and the victims and whether there was an exchange of gunfire.
“We’re very early on in the investigation and we can’t determine right now how many shooters but we know that there’s more than one person involved,” said Insp. Fernandes.
