‘Verbal argument turned physical’: Man arrested in Toronto stabbing, injuries reported

Toronto police say a man is in custody after another man was stabbed and injured as a result of a verbal argument turned physical at a downtown park.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Barbara Hall Park in the Church-Wellesley neighbourhood.
It’s believed that three men got into an argument, leading to an altercation. One was stabbed and rushed to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A man in his 30s was arrested nearby, and the knife was seized by police.
Toronto police say Cawthra Square is closed from Jarvis and Church Streets for the investigation.
