Suspects broke into Toronto home wearing matching orange hats: police

Police are searching for a pair of suspects who allegedly broke into an east-end Toronto home while wearing matching hats.

Officers were called to a residence in the area of Hobson Avenue and Bartley Drive, near Bermondsey Road and Eglinton Avenue East, around 6 p.m. Friday.

It is alleged that two men broke into the home and made off with a number of items. The suspects were last seen walking northbound on Hobson.

Police say both male suspects were wearing matching orange hats with reflective stripes. One suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, black pants, black shoes with white soles. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt with an orange front image, gray shorts and black shoes.

Police have released photos of the pair. Anyone with additional information is being asked to contact police.
