But will it enjoy the luxury of the top spot, or could it go to a new comedy about old dads learning how to raise their kids? First up, let’s return to the afterlife!

Upload is a sitcom starring Robbie Amell (from the Babysitter) and Andy Allo (from Pitch Perfect 3) as a dead guy in a cybernetic afterlife and his living handler respectively. When we last left them, the two had decided to enter into a relationship despite the fact that one is alive and the other is dead. Things get complicated for then when a back-up clone of him arrives in the afterlife. This show also stars Allegra Edwards (from Briarpatch), Andrea Rosen (from Take Me To Your Mother), and Kevin Bigly (from Sirens).

Old Dads

Next up, it’s time to teach some old dads some new tricks!

Old Dads is a new film directed by Bill Burr (from F Is for Family). He stars in it alongside Bokeem Woodbine (from Fargo) and Bobby Cannavale (from Boardwalk Empire). They’re three middle-aged dads who recently sold their business, and as they’re now focusing more on their kids they find themselves confused by the modern world and dreaming of the good old days. This film also stars Katie Aselton (from Legion), Jackie Tohn (from GLOW), and Josh Brener (from Silicon Valley).

Fear the Night

Now, it’s time for a little action!

Fear the Night is a new action thriller starring Maggie Q (from Divergent and Live Free or Die Hard). She plays Tess, an Iraq War veteran who travels to an isolated cabin in the desert for a bachelorette party with some friends. After the celebrations begin, the women are attacked by a group of robbers searching for something in their cabin. Tess gathers the survivors together to fight back and save themselves. This film also stars Kat Foster (from ‘Til Death), Gia Crovatin (from Dirty Weekend), and James Carpinello (from So Notorious).

The Other Zoey

Next up, it’s time for a complicated love triangle!

The Other Zoey stars Josephine Langford (from Moxie) as a intelligent college student. She has an encounter with an attractive but kind-of-dumb guy called Zach (played by Drew Starkey from The Hate U Give) that leads to him getting amnesia and thinking that she’s his actual girlfriend who is also called Zoey. Feeling guilty about the accident, she pretends to be his girlfriend and goes on a trip to meet his family. She also meets his cousin Miles (played by Archie Renaux from Shadow and Bone), a very attractive grad student at MIT. She’s now got some complicated romance to figure out. This film also stars Patrick Fabian (from Better Call Saul), Heather Graham (from Boogie Nights), and Andie McDowell (from Sex, Lies, and Videotape).

The Pigeon Tunnel

Last but not least, a documentary about one of the most enigmatic espionage authors out there!

The Pigeon Tunnel is a new documentary by one of the best to ever work in the genre, Errol Morris (the director behind the Thin Blue Line, Fast, Cheap, & Out of Control, and Wormwood). It’s a profile piece about John le Carré, a former spy who worked for both MI5 and MI6. After retiring from that career, he became a beloved espionage author. Responsible for classic books like Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, the Spy Who Came in from the Cold, and the Little Drummer Girl, this film features Morris’ frequent technique of constant, intimate interviews with the subject as he breaks down his long and complicated life.
