Pedestrian seriously injured when struck by vehicle in North York

A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in North York.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at Doris Avenue and Finch Avenue East near Yonge Street around 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

The woman’s injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police say the driver involved remained at the scene.
