Man, 26, dies after being struck by vehicle in Richmond Hill

A 26-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Richmond Hill on Thursday night.

York Regional Police officers were called to the area of Highway 7 and Silver Linden Drive around 9:20 p.m.

The man was rushed to hospital where he later died.

The driver remained at the scene. There is no word if any charges will be laid.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
