Missing Toronto woman, 75, with Alzheimer’s found

Toronto police say a missing person with Alzheimer’s has been found.

A 75-year-old woman had been last seen on Wednesday, May 15 just before 2 p.m. walking westbound on King Street West at Spadina Avenue in the city’s Fashion District. On May 27, police announced that she had been found.

Toronto police Duty Insp. Scott Shutt had said there was an elevated concern as the woman has Alzheimer’s.

Marnie Kraguljac, a close friend of the missing person, tells CityNews that the person is a retired nurse from Toronto. She adds that the nurse has “done so much for many years to care for residents.”
