Driver allegedly flees the scene after hitting pedestrian in North York

A driver has allegedly fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in North York.

Police were called to Florence Avenue and Yonge Street just before 6 p.m. for reports of a collision.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

A green SUV was last seen heading southbound on Yonge.

Police are currently on the scene.
