Police are searching for suspects after a man was stabbed in the west end early Sunday morning.

Investigators say there was a physical altercation between two groups of people near Kipling Avenue and Jutland Road just before 1:30 a.m.

During the fight, a man was stabbed. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police did not immediately have a description of the suspects.
