Numerous homes shot at in Bowmanville

Durham Regional Police investigators say numerous homes were shot at in Bowmanville in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Officers were called to the Streathern Way and Markham Trail area at around 2 a.m. for reports of shots fired.

During a search of the area officers located numerous homes that had been hit by bullets.

No injuries were reported.

No suspect information is currently available.
