Man wanted for shooting at a Newmarket home

York Regional Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 35-year-old man who is accused of firing gunshots at a home in Newmarket.
Officers say they were called to a residence near College Manor Drive and Greig Circle at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, they discovered multiple shell casings in front of the residence. Police say they also noticed damage to the front of the home and a vehicle parked in the driveway.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and say the house was occupied at the time of the shooting. However, no injuries were reported.
A white hatchback was seen fleeing the area.
Police are now on the hunt for 35-year-old Winston Vernon of Aurora who is believed to be the shooter. He is facing seven charges, including mischief to property, unauthorized possession of a firearm, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, failure to comply with an undertaking and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
Investigators encourage anyone with information to come forward.
