Man dead in 2-vehicle crash involving motorcycle in Whitchurch-Stouffville

One man is dead following a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Whitchurch-Stouffville.

York Regional Police (YRP) said the collision happened overnight in the Ninth Line and Hoover Park Drive area.

A police spokesperson tells 680News Radio that a car and motorcycle were involved.

The 21-year-old motorcyclist from Stouffville was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.

Police say there is at least one important witness who left the scene, and investigators are urging them and other potential witnesses to come forward.
