3 arrested following rollover crash in North York, firearm found: police

Three people have been arrested and are in hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle rollover crash on the DVP in North York, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a collision on the DVP at Eglinton Avenue East around 4 a.m. on Monday.

Authorities located a handgun inside the vehicle, and three people were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, a police spokesperson told 680 NewsRadio. All three occupants of the car are facing charges.

Police said there was no indication that the vehicle was stolen.

Delays in the area are to be expected.
