Man critically injured in St. Clair and Bathurst stabbing

Toronto police are searching for a suspect in connection with a stabbing near St. Clair Avenue West and Bathurst Street that left a man in his 50s with critical injuries.
Police said they were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday for a stabbing outside a Popeyes restaurant.
Authorities said the victim was approached from behind and stabbed by an unidentified man who fled eastbound on St. Clair Avenue West. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a male between the age of 30 to 40. He is approximately five-foot-ten and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and black jacket with a blue hood.
No other details were released.
