Driver injured after vehicle gets stuck in North York sinkhole

A driver has been taken to hospital after their vehicle got stuck in a sinkhole in North York.

Toronto police were called to Sheppard Avenue and Don River Boulevard just after 9:30 p.m. for reports of a large sinkhole.

Officers arrived and determined that the vehicle had become stuck in the sinkhole. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Delays are expected in the area.
