Motorcyclist critically injured in Scarborough crash

A 35-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision involving a vehicle in Scarborough on Saturday.

Toronto police officers say a motorcycle was travelling westbound on Lawrence Avenue East just before 6 p.m. when it collided with a 2021 black Mercedes that was making a left-hand turn onto Danielle Moore Circle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, while a female passenger in the Mercedes was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
