Dirt bike rider killed in Mississauga crash, police say

A man who was riding a dirt bike was killed Sunday in a collision in Mississauga’s Meadowvale neighbourhood.
Peel Regional Police (PRP) say the crash involving a dirt bike and an SUV occurred near Argentia and Kitimat Roads, near Mississauga Road, at around 9:45 p.m.
The man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and was not injured.
“Investigators believe the dirt bike was travelling eastbound on Argentia Road and the SUV was travelling westbound on Argentia Road. For unknown reasons, the two collided. Our Forensics team attended and processed the scene,” a PRP spokesperson said.
