Toronto police are looking for witnesses of a fatal shooting that happened in February at an east-end McDonald’s.
Ryan Hind, 39, and Donny Ouimette, 25, both of Toronto, were killed on Saturday, February 28.
Police have released the photos of witnesses.
According to police, an armed security guard, who was apparently in the restaurant to buy food, fired his weapon following a “significant physical altercation” with two men.
There were about 15 to 20 customers and staff in the McDonald’s, near Danforth and Coxwell avenues, at the time of the incident.
Police are not looking for any suspects. They said the reason for the confrontation isn’t yet known, but they are going through security video of the incident.
“There’s no doubt that the security guard is the involved party for the discharging of the firearm,” Det.-Sgt. Terry Browne said. “We’re really trying to put the pieces together on how this all played out.”
