An early morning fire near Bathurst and the 401 sent flames shooting from the roof of a house in North York. The blaze broke out just after midnight in a garage on Wasdale Crescent. Fire officials aren’t sure of the cause, but they don’t think arson is behind it. No one was hurt but the damage is estimated at $80,000.
Road Rage Stabbing?
Police say road rage is behind an east end stabbing. The drivers of two cars got into a fight around 8:30pm Tuesday night on Tower Drive near Warden and Lawrence. A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and arm – he’s been treated and released from hospital. Police are still looking for the other man who fled the scene.
