A Toronto man who was rattled with grief after his mother’s death left $50,000 and his passport on a TTC bus.
But lucky for him, TTC driver Daniel Clavette found the items on the 11 Bellamy bus just after 7 p.m. on Monday.
“My initial reaction was like wow. I didn’t expect to see this amount of money,” Clavette said.
The man who seemed to have lost everything, including the cash he left behind in a backpack, had his money returned to him.
Clavette was awarded for his good deed on Friday with a ‘Good Samaritan’ reward.
It is believed the money was part of the man’s inheritance from his mother.
