Salad company creator has a ‘taste’ for success

A salad chef is one of Canada’s top female entrepreneurs and to hear Susan Niczowski tell it, creating Summer Fresh Salads Inc. fulfilled a childhood dream.
“As a child, I would always cut up vegetables and make my own dips,” Niczowski, the owner and president of Summer Fresh Salads Inc., told CityNews.
“When I finished school, I worked for a food company in the microbiology laboratory.”
Last year, the Summer Fresh line of products raked in over $75 million.
