Specialty digital FX Canada launched on Monday with shows like Wilfred, Sons of Anarchy, Terriers, and – just in time for Halloween – American Horror Story.
The channel will also air FX original series, U.S. acquired movies and series, original Canadian programming, and Canadian sports events.
FX Canada is available to Rogers Digital subscribers on channel 318 and 565, and to EastLink subscribers on channel 667. And if you miss your favourite shows, don’t worry: episodes will be available online at Rogers on Demand.
FX Canada is owned by Rogers Media Inc., which is also the parent of Citytv.
“There is a strong appetite in Canada for FX’s content and Rogers is thrilled to bring this award-winning programming to Canada,” Scott Moore, president of broadcasting at Rogers Media Inc, said when the station was announced in August.
“In addition to delivering FX’s unique content, the launch of FX Canada provides an additional outlet for Rogers Media to strategically invest in top tier homegrown series over time.”
