Report: Amy Winehouse Arrested

According to reports out of Britain, singer Amy Winehouse was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.
Reports suggest the 24-year-old pop star was charged with “perverting the course of justice.” It’s a serious charge similar to contempt of court or obstruction in North America.
Police wouldn’t confirm that the suspect was Winehouse, but several prominent news agencies were saying it was her.
Winehouse recently cancelled all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year on doctor’s orders.
In the meantime her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, remains in custody on charges of perverting the course of justice stemming from the alleged assault on a male bartender in June.
He’s accused of trying to interfere with a witness’ testimony.
