Canada wins bronze at women’s world curling

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Canada’s Heather Nedohin won the bronze medal at the women’s world curing championship.

Her Edmonton team defeated South Korea’s Ji-Sun Kim 9-6.

The South Koreans had knocked the Canadians out of contention for gold Saturday with a 4-3 win in a playoff game, but the Canadians team won the rematch.

Sweden’s Margaretha Sigfriddson and Switzerland’s Mirjam Ott were to meet for gold Sunday.
