Actor Danny Glover has been convicted of trespassing in connection with a rally he attended at a Niagara Falls, Ont. hotel two years ago.
Glover did not attend court in Niagara Falls but was found guilty Thursday along with union representative Alex Dagg and Ontario Federation of Labour president Wayne Samuelson.
The trio was charged with trespassing at the Sheraton on the Falls hotel during a hotel workers protest on September 16, 2006.
Glover, who has become well-known as a labour movement activist, took part in the protest as part of a campaign by the hotel workers across North America to improve working conditions and salaries.
The Lethal Weapon star will be sentenced February 8.
