Pedestrian struck by TTC bus on Kingston Road

A man in his 20s suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, after being struck by a TTC bus on Saturday.
Police say the bus was travelling eastbound on Kingston Road near Overture Road around 2:30 p.m. when a pedestrian attempted to cross from the south side of Kingston Road to the north.
Police say as the man stepped onto the roadway, he was struck by the bus.
There is no crosswalk or signal light where the man was struck.
Part of the windshield of the bus was shattered due to the impact of the collision.
EMS transported the man to the hospital.
No word yet if any charges are pending as it is still early on in the investigation.
