Woman seriously injured in crash near Lawrence and Dufferin

A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Wednesday morning.

Police said at around 11:15 a.m. they received a report of a collision in the area of Lawrence Avenue West near Dufferin Street.

Investigators said a 69-year-old woman had just pulled out her car from a private driveway on the north side of Lawrence Avenue West and was travelling east on Lawrence when a pickup truck collided with the vehicle.

Police continue to investigate, and are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash or who have security or dash camera footage of the incident or area at the time to contact them.
