Child Safe After Wandering Off During Snowstorm

A five-year-old girl is safe and sound after going on a little adventure overnight.
The youngster, who was sleeping over at her grandmother’s, apparently decided to go for a little stroll during the overnight snowstorm. She was spotted crossing Rathburn Rd. near The West Mall just after 2am Monday.
The passerby saw her and authorities were contacted. According to police the tot had decided to visit her mother, who lives across the street from her granny.
The child was unharmed and reunited with her grandma within half an hour.
